America, Oct 27, 2023 - My son who is deployed overseas received his first care package today.  He video called me to show me what he got. Let me tell you this meant the world to him! He was excited about everything showing me the hand made gifts and he yelled "Mom there's girl scout cookies!" One thing that really touched his heart was the hand made cards from everyone and children. He told me he started to cry reading them. There was one young man that wrote about his own struggles and asked for him to respond if he could. My son felt sad he couldn't find a way to respond as he left no contact info. He really wants to. This made me so happy to hear his excitement.  For him to know that others care so much. Thank you for all you do. You are making a difference in these soldiers lives. ❤️
