Djibouti navy patrol boat 2021 support our troops org

PORT DE PECHE, Djibouti (November 12, 2021) Gunners Mate 2nd Class Tyler Robson, a U.S. Navy Reserve Sailor assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 10 (MSRON-10), deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, affixes the barrel to a .50 caliber mounted machine gun aboard a patrol boat Nov. 12, 2021.

Camp Lemonnier (CLDJ) serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing, support to ships, aircraft, and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia. CLDJ enables maritime and combat operations in the Horn of Africa, while fostering positive U.S. – Africa relations. The base is also home to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, with an area of responsibility including Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, and Yemen.
