ARABIAN SEA, (July 20, 2026) - U.S. service members aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) support flight operations day and night from the Arabian Sea as CENTCOM enforces the naval blockade against Iran. SOT Staff - The Persian Gulf runs through the Strait of Hormuz into the Gulf of Oman which empties into the much larger Arabian Sea in which all regional ocean traffic gathers to enter and exit past Iran in those narrow waterways.
