FORT IRWIN, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, (August 22, 2026) - U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 388th Engineer Company (Clearance) conduct unexploded ordnance detection and clearance operations at Fort Irwin, California. Clearance teams used specialized detection equipment and deliberate procedures to identify explosive hazards along a 22-mile route designated for the installation of a natural gas pipeline.
