UNITED STATES, (December 6, 2025): U.S. Coast Guard Great Lakes District - U.S. Coast Guard Seaman Evan Kretz, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathaniel Mitzel, a damage control man assigned to Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw (WLBB 30), offload Christmas trees in Chicago, Illinois. The crew of the Mackinaw along with local volunteers transferred hundreds of Christmas trees from the Mackinaw during this year’s Christmas Tree Ship event.
