MWR is critical to mission success. Support Our Troops^®, was privileged to recently supply Airmen at Mountain Home AFB with 12 pallets, or 11,520 10z bags, of Classic Snack Mix varieties.  Traditional snack mix,  Cheddar snack mix, Honey BBQ snack mix, and Buffalo snack mix.   $115,200 worth!  All bakery-fresh,  free,  and delivered for free.   And all pallets were marked with large Thank-You! labels to the troops.  Who are these troops?  Why they’re your and our neighbors, the guy or gal next door who volunteer to keep us all safe.  And yes, in Air Force tradition both the men and woman demanded to be called Airmen.

Home to America's Most Elite Fighter Wing, the Mountain Home mission is to provide mission-ready Gunfighters to conduct military operations anytime, anywhere.  The 366th Fighter Wing has the firepower of more than 50 F-15E Strike Eagle. Additionally Mountain Home AFB hosts the Republic of Singapore Air Force F-15SG aircraft. The wing is home to three fighter squadrons:

• The 389th Fighter Squadron (389th FS) Thunderbolts or T-Bolts
• The 391st Fighter Squadron (391st FS) Tigers
• The Republic of Singapore 428th Fighter Squadron (428th FS) Buccaneers
