I just had to say THANK YOU to all who have left such inspiring messages and words of appreciation here for us deployed troops from all branches away from our families. It truly is felt and warms hearts here across the miles and through the long days and nights. I'm just a small town boy from Glencoe in Fulton county, currently serving in Baghdad Iraq on a MiTT team here with the 1st Brigade, 6th Division Iraqi Army. They are a good group of soldiers, but hardly a replacement for all of you back home. We love you and miss you all so very much, and we will be home again soon. Till then, God Bless and be safe... Honored and proud to serve my country. I was here 1991 and now 2007. I love the United States of America and will always Fight to defend the Constitution and what it stands for. Ensuring that my family and friends may always maintain their liberty and freedom. Thanks to all the Americans who support us. Your efforts are not unnoticed and really do make a difference. Thank you all for your support. As I sit here in Iraq, it's great to know that so many people back at home are supporting us at home. To my wife and kids, I love and miss you a lot, but daddy will be home from work real soon... To everyone back in the wonderful State of Arizona, I can't wait to get back to see everyone again. ~~PS1(FMF/SW/AW) Jeremy ------, USN, Chandler, Ariz.
Right now I am sitting in tent in Iraq. I am normally a member of the MDANG. I am serving a rotation in Iraq. All of the messages that I have read on site are pretty amazing and I want you all to know that the fire fighters I am so privileged to lead and I are truly touched by your messages. Thank you. All of the American and Coalition troops are the most terrific people it has been my honor to meet. But, I have to tell you all about the Fire Dawgs I serve with. From the Air National Guard and Active Duty Air Force, they are truly the most amazing bunch of young people I have ever been around. People have asked me why I don't retire with all of the time I have in the military. Well, I could retire and go to Florida and play shuffleboard or I can stay in and hang out with the finest young people America has to offer the world. It is kind of a no-brainer. I am so privileged and humble to be allowed serve with them. They are the greatest. To the Fire Dawgs and my American and Canadian supporters, thank you so much for ALL YOU DO! ~~Chuck ------, SMSgt
Thank you everyone for the support, it really is helping me get through my first deployment. Especially when I am missing the birth of my daughter, and that really depresses me. Anyways, once again thank you for your support, and God Bless everyone. ~~Sean ------/SPC/US ARMY, Mobile, Ala.
I would like to thank you all for everything you do for us. The support that we get from home is truly wonderful. I never knew there could be such caring people in this world. Thanks for all that everyone does for us~~ SGT(P) SCOTT ------ACTIVE ARMY, Killeen TX, Kingston, NY
I'm Brian and I wanted to thank everyone who was such a great help last deployment with everything from clothes to goodies. During the last deployment we lost our laundry to a fire and had to get things from others to make sure the guys that lost everything to the fire had uniform items. We did laundry by washing them in sinks and drying them in any space possible. I am currently on another deployment and I would love to hear from people via email. marcusb at lpd13 dot navy dot mil is my address for anyone wanting to write to me or others on the ship. Thank again for everything, ~~Brian, E-6/Navy, Greybull, Wyo.
