Americans!~ wow..I can't believe the incredible messages I have read so far. First and foremost I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity to sit here and still leave you all a message. I am currently in Iraq, serving alongside other American Soldiers. I can't begin to express the feelings that come from such support. We appreciate all the letters, and care packages we receive. A simple letter does more than you think! Especially around the holidays. Anyways...I would just like to say thank you and God bless. ~~------,SGT, Army, Camarillo, Calif.
Thank you all for your support. If you did not stand behind us then we would be doing this for nothing. Thank you. ~~Anthony -------/SPC/US Army, Hermon, N.Y.
We work at the largest hospital in the AOR here in Iraq and get shipped several boxes a week of donated items. We box up what we don't use for the patients and forward them to locations that don't have the amenities that we have here. Things such as clean socks, knit hats, candy, books, stationary, etc...that way we know it's going to a soldier in need. We do keep the majority of it for the patients coming through, or the soldiers serving as escorts or guards. ~~TSgt Lee------, Shreveport La
I just want to say thank you to all of you who leave your kind words for us soldiers to read, it really helps and gives us a reason to keep on going. knowing that our fellow Americans appreciate what we do to keep them safe. So...THANK YOU!!! ~~SPC Anthony -------, Vacaville, Ca
Greetings from Iraq! Thanks to all of you for your constant, uplifting support for us. I can't begin to tell you how much the care packages you send help us out and give us that big boost of morale that we all need when things start to get heavy out here. We appreciate all of you, and never forget that we do this willingly for all of you! We are forever in your service! Thanks once again! ~~SPC Beverly ------, Army, Woodbury, NJ
I wanted to take the time to thank you for all that you do for the soldiers and their families. Being in the military is hard enough sometimes however, the spouses and the children sometimes have to suffer as well. Thanks for comforting them most of all. ~~Jason ------,SGT US ARMY, Valdosta, Ga
