Words cannot describe the debt we owe to those of you who have elected to defend us. I have had many family members and friends who have fought for our nation. from the Mexican American War, Korea, Vietnam, to Bosnia, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Everyday I am aware of the sacrifices that are being made on my behalf, so that we can remain free and safe from those who would wish to do us harm.
