This is not my 1st go around in the military...I actually have 17 years altogether, but after 9/11, I realized I had to do something. I am 44 and have been married for 19 years and 5 children. I would just like to thank each and every one of you for your support, no matter the reason for it...you, just as you say we are, are appreciated for your support. Nothing gives me or anyone else in my unit a bigger kick than getting one of those care packages, and the colored pictures from the kids...man, I have to excuse myself for a moment and collect myself....and I am not the only one...men who are much bigger than I need a tissue after those. So America...you keep up the fight on your end..and we will do the same here...wherever here is...it is an honor and a privilege to serve you! ~~Jayme P. ------, Spc / Army, Butler, Pa
I'm an Airman currently sitting in southern Iraq. While I'm over here I hear constant reminders of how supportive everyone at home is. I come onto awesome sites like this one, and I get goosebumps because I read comments about how much everyone prays for us, how much everyone thinks of us, and how much everyone loves us. Even while I'm at home, I'm constantly being stopped and thanked. I was even saluted once. I wanted to say thank you in return. It's hot out here, the work isn't the greatest, and we have no comforts of home. But coming on here and being reminded about why I'm out here makes it all worth it. Thank you for supporting us, thank you for the prayers, and I think the prayers are being heard!! So keep it up, we hear you out here!! It really really helps. ~~Kristen -------/SrA/USAF, Deer Lodge, Mont.
I am so thankful for all the support that your organization gives to the troops over here in Iraq. We continue to get letters and care packets every day from individuals and your organization and I enjoy seeing the faces of the individuals who normally don't receive anything. Their smiles are a wonderful sight to see. Thank you so very much for all you do. ~~Clifford ------, SFC US Army, Royse City
I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting and praying for us. Keep me and all the troops in your prayers. I love you. Very Respectfully ~~Alishia -----/HM2(SW)/USN, BECKLEY, W.Va.
I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone back home for all the support you give us. One of the only things a soldier wants in life is to know that someone cares. And that's why I am so proud to serve you. I have been deployed six times in my career and because of people like you back home it gets a little easier. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart see you all soon. ~~Kawika ------, SGT USA, Wahiawa
I would just like to say thanks to everyone back at home who supports us over here. Things get really hard most times and I know it would be near impossible to accomplish our missions without the unwavering support of everyone back at home. Thanks once again for all that you do for us over here, it most certainly doesn't go unnoticed. ~~PFC D. ------, Active Army, 4-2 ID, Haskell, Ark.
